I recently asked on my Instagram stories what you’d wish you’d known when starting your coloured pencil journey or things that you struggle with now. 
The three main answers were layering, blending and colour theory/contrast so I’ve compiled all of my knowledge into a 3.5 hour beginner friendly Masterclass where we draw this shiny snaffle together. 
 
Drawing shiny objects can be challenging. Especially silver ones as there tends to be a strong but seamless contrast of warm and cold greys plus some hidden colours which create a realistic form.
