Commissioning a portrait is a very individual process and each piece is tailored to your personal requirements.
I believe it is essential to gain an in-depth understanding of each subject and the relationship between subject and owner which helps me to truly capture personality and spirit.
When commissioning a portrait, please bear in mind that the best quality, highest resolution photographs are essential to allowing me to achieve the closest likeness. I am always happy to discuss photography options and choices with you during the initial stages of booking your commission.
Upon agreeing on a portrait size, reference photographs, price and timescale, a deposit of 25% is required to secure your booking.

Taking on only a limited number of private commissions each year, I am able to provide a truly personal service to ensure your portrait captures the true essence of your chosen subject.
As of October 2025, I am offering a limited number of charcoal tonal portraits too.
