I completely fell in love with this adorable donkey foal whilst drawing him - I just adore the tufty fur texture!
 
I use a variation of techniques to achieve the most realistic looking fur possible and I can't wait to show you how to create this yourself. I use Fabriano Artistico hot pressed watercolour paper which allows me to add a tonne of layers as well as lots of small details.
