At first impressions, this piece might look super overwhelming and that’s completely understandable - it can be so difficult to know exactly how to capture not only the different colours of the Elephant's skin but also every little wrinkle detail.
 
So in this 7.5 hour drawing challenge, I will break down exactly how to tackle a complex piece like this elephant whilst focusing on how to accurately depict both warm and cool hues in the skin through blending, layering and colour theory.
 
I will also teach you my tips and tricks to adding a tonne of depth and wrinkle detail / texture to elephant whilst still keeping strong lighting and soft colour gradients.
 
What the challenge includes and how is it different from my usual masterclasses? 
 
Whilst this class has the same fundamentals of a masterclass, the key aim is to teach a different element each month that many of us struggle with eg. colour theory. The idea of the challenge is to help you to improve with each aspect so you can take the knowledge and use it on future drawings.
